Dues are established annually to support community preservation. Payments are due by April 1st; a late fee applies thereafter to ensure continuous funding for lake maintenance and security.
Common Area Dock Regulations
Docks on community lands are must be registered and insured with MLC. They are for the use of all members in good standing regardless of who registered the dock. While specific designated areas are provided for shared access according to community rules, individual installations, plantings, are prohibited on community property without Board approval.
Private Dock & Swimmer Etiquette
Private docks are the property of individual members. Residents must obtain explicit permission from the property owner before accessing, using, or swimming from any private dock structure.
Board Meeting Access & Documentation
Archives for seasonal agendas and votes are available digitally. General meetings are held biannually in May and September. Monthly board meetings are the second Tuesday of every month.
MLC owns property along the shoreline and roadsides. Clearing the shoreline is limited to 20 feet of access; clear-cutting is strictly forbidden to protect the lake from runoff. Tree removal on Club property or roadside right-of-ways is prohibited without prior consultation and written permission from the Building Committee. Please email info@moosiclakes.org to review property lines before any cutting.
