As a means of providing ongoing community information, MLC intends to continue mailing a periodic newsletter to all property owners and residents. Other postal mailings occur on an as-needed or required basis. However, we are an active community. And frequently, news happens and meetings are scheduled which may require a more immediate means of communication to as many community members as possible. The Moosic Lakes Womens Club would like to thank everyone who attended our fundraising events and purchased merchandise from us. We had a very successful 2011 season. For instance:

We were able to buy mulch for the playground and, with the help of many able-bodied men, the playground was refurbished.
We provide funds for snacks during "kids’ night" twice a week throughout the summer. Our big event last summer was "drive-in movie night" for the kids, with movies, food and prizes for all.

Currently, we have the following items available for purchase: Beach Towels ($15.00), Shirts (all types and sizes -- $10.00 to $15.00), Hats and Visors ($10.00), Aprons ($12.00), Koozies (for cans, $ 3.00 / for bottles, $ 4.00), Glasses (set of four - $10.00). On September 6, 2007, Ecological Solutions, Inc. (ECS) conducted a Fishery Survey in both the Big and Little Lakes. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the quality of the fishery in both lakes in order to make recommendations on how to manage these resources in the future.
